Replacer is a plugin for Adobe XD which can be used to quickly replace elements in an Adobe XD document. This is my first plugin for Adobe XD.
Many times we create multiple copies of an object but forget to make them a symbol. When we have to change all of them, we have to go one by one and do it. Replacer will help replace individual vector objects and texts with one click.
Currently Replacer supports replacing lines, rectangles, ellipses, paths and text only. It does not support replacing groups, artboards, repeat-grids etc.
How to use:
First select the object to be replaced and then select the object it has to be replaced with. Then run the plugin and all instances of the first object will be replaced by the second. Enjoy!
Example of how a basic rectangle is replaced by another rectangle. Just make copies of what you want to replace and the object to be replaced with, select them and run the plugin.
Example of replacing text. Variations in colour, size etc. are also possible. Note that even if the text is within a group it replaces it. You just have to make sure you make a copy outside the group before selecting it and running the plugin.
